DuxxBak® Dekk Installation Guide Update V13.9
DuxxBak constantly evolves to provide the best products and customer experience. We recently released version 13.9 of our installation guide, and there are two significant updates that we’re excited to share. These changes reflect our commitment to quality and continuous improvement, which are key values at DuxxBak.
One of the critical updates in version 13.9 is the addition of installation clips as an essential component of the DuxxBak Armor Cap Dekk installation process.
Mounting Clips, as detailed on Page 8, are crucial for ensuring the stability and longevity of your deck. For boards shorter than 20 feet, a clip must be placed at the last joist on each end. For boards 20 feet or longer, a clip must be installed on each of the last two joists at both ends of the board. This ensures the reliability of our water-shedding systems, enhancing deck stability and safeguarding your investment with a more durable, seamless finish.
What was once referred to as “installation tips” in previous versions are now classified as “requirements.”
We’ve changed this to enhance clarity and ensure the best possible outcome for your decking projects. Found on page three of the new guide, this list contains valuable advice that, when followed, can prevent common installation issues. By elevating them to requirements, we’re helping our customers avoid potential pitfalls and ensure that every DuxxBak deck is built to last.
At DuxxBak, we aim to produce the most durable and innovative composite decking available while adhering to the highest standards of craftsmanship, accountability, and continuous improvement. These updates to our installation guide reflect our commitment to delivering excellence in every aspect of our products. We believe that by continually refining our processes, we can ensure that our customers enjoy a top-quality product and a seamless installation experience.
